Debbie helped my husband and I design our wedding invitation and table cards. We had met with other vendors but she would be our last look. Once we met Debbie, her inventory, and passion for what she does my husband said, let's work with her. She seems genuine and honest . She was familiar with our reception location and gave us input on how to tie it all together to our invitation which is also the first glimpse your guest will see of your wedding. I felt she was very knowledgeable and she heard our requests and incorporated them into the final product. The lovely invitations that set the tone to our special day. I am a first time bride. I hired Debbie so that I would get some coaching in invitation ettiquete as well as design a beautiful, classy invitation. Both were accomplished. Knowing somewhat of the style you want helps. The invitations are stunning and well worth the money. The turnaround time was reasonable. She works incredibly hard to accomodate crazed, overwhelmed brides to be so that their invitations are perfect. I found Debbie to be very nice, knowledgeable, and seasoned.

I just received my invitations from Debbie yesterday and I have this to say . . . Debbie is the guru of graphics, the princess of proofs and the wizard of wedding invitations. I shopped around for invitations for what seemed like forever and I was getting discouraged because it seemed in the land of invitations there were only two ends of the spectrum - really cheap (in price and presentation) or REALLY expensive. Then I found Chelsea Press and I found the best of both worlds. My invitations are AMAZING and look even better than any "I wish I could afford those" invitations I had seen in my hunt. I was very nervous to start the invitation design process because I am not very detail oriented or creative. I contacted Debbie after seeing some of her beautiful work from a friend's wedding invitation. The actual process was a lot less scary than I imagined. My fiance and I have been searching for a place that would help us to create our wedding invitations but to no avail. At least until she found Debbie. I was expecting another large store with sales reps that would point us to the books and check on us every so often. Well that wasn't the case here. Although the studio was small, it was very effective. Debbie was very focused and pleasant to work with. She was sure not to take more than a couple of customers at a time so that the quality of her work and attention did not degrade. Just about all of the other stationary stores we walked into compromised just that. That being said, I would recommend making reservations. She absolutely cares about her work, which makes it even better for us to communicate our needs and wants. We ended up with beautiful invitations.

Debbie is THE BEST for helping anyone with their wedding invitations, save the dates, menu cards, etc. The best thing about her is she has a wealth of expertise and she guides you through the process of card design with ease. Wording, font style, paper and ink colors... she helps you fine tune all the details so your custom wedding invitations will look better than you could ever imagine! I never thought our invitations would become one of my favorite parts of the wedding planning... but Debbie is hands down the BEST vendor I have worked with thus far and she helped me create an invitation that completely captures the essence of my dream wedding. I checked out a few of the other wedding stationary places in LA but I am glad I found Chelsea Press. The only advice I would give to those ordering wedding invitations is to order them earlier rather than later. We ordered a little late and were scrambling to get them out.
